Incorrect Triangle Pattern on Etihad Boeing 787-9 and Boeing 787-10

While flying Etihad’s Boeing 787-9 earlier, I noticed a (minor) discrepancy in the triangle pattern on the upper fuselage compared to the real aircraft.

In reality, the triangle pattern on the upper fuselage of Etihad’s 787-9 should be like this:

This problem is not limited to the 787-9 iteration, as the 787-10 in Infinite Flight also sports the same issue.

Interestingly, the Etihad liveries on the 777-300ER and A380-800 in Infinite Flight display the correct triangle pattern, as shown below:

While this is a relatively minor issue, I think it’s worth bringing up, especially with the upcoming 787-9 rework on the horizon. Hopefully, the livery can be revised to better reflect the real-world design. Thanks!

Apologies for bumping this thread once again, but I would also like to add that the minor inaccuracy also extend to the 787-9’s underbelly

Here’s the real world example, with credits attached on the bottom of the picture

Hopefully the new iteration in the upcoming 787-9 rework could address these issues.

Thanks a lot for the praise. I don’t know if it’s a gift (to be a keen observer) though, as once you notice it, it becomes an OCD to me haha.

Thank you for the report!

These are things that will be looked at extra for the coming rework.
