Does anyone else notice on Expert server, a number of players that have no regard for anyone else? Like I know it’s just a game but surely, if you want to be lawless, go to casual server…
Sorry, just venting because it’s becoming more common which does take some of the joy from trying to at least fly with due care of rules.
I often see players racing around trying to get in before you takeoff or land. Sometimes resulting in a go-around if landing.
Well if you’re in uncontrolled airspace the best is you can ignore and just pretend like they don’t exist also most of them are very impatient and some of them like to poke you for fun.
Send them to casual or training servers to mess around I say. Then again, what can anyone do to stop it or deter them 
I’ll try ignore them I guess and carry on doing the best I can.
Unless they re-write the rules or something you have no voice over it honestly either take it or leave.
If you think the expert server has become what the casual server is, may i suggest you go fly there. Atleast there it wont be crowded, so less hooligans to make you trouble
Well, we know no one is going to re- write the rules or enforce the pop up sign before each flight. Anyways, it got to a point today where I just had to ask here if anyone was experiencing the same.
I enjoy live ATC and a lot of the time, it’s a great bunch of players that understand how to do things but as the other person said. Uncontrolled does allow some to just run amok. Oh well.
As frustrating as this can be sometimes, my best suggestion is to keep doing what you do. Following the rules. Many others share your sentiments. Let the train derail itself. The bad apples will eventually be rooted out and sent back to the training server. All one can do is hope they learn from their mistakes, coming back and following the ES rules as everyone else does and make it fun and give it a realistic experience that everyone seeks.
Try to stay away from top traffick airports JFK EGLL KLAX OMDB etc when there’s no ATC, or if you use Autopilot +, check a tracker before you jump in for those last 30 mins

Because for these rookies it’s just a game and likely their playground and nobody to actually hold them accountable unless they are present in controlled airspace. Also very good of you following those rules will surely help you once you get into expert server.
I dont understand why those people insist on flying on the expert server. They’re like I wanna do what I want with no rules, but I also want to and must do it on the expert server….. ummm thats literally the whole reason for the casual server?

To answer your question: no, pilots are not directly punished for racing and trying to get to the airport faster than everyone else (unless they violate the speed limit, like the 250 knots under 10,000 feet rule) when there’s no ATC. However, the pilots would definitely be punished if they do try to race to the airport when ATC is active (and ATC knows this by seeing that those pilots don’t follow ATC instructions).
However, there’s an issue with racing to and trying to get to the airport faster than anyone else when there’s no ATC. One time during the IF World Tour earlier this year, I was on descent to Montreal, but then there’s another aircraft on descent just right behind me. We were both on the same path during the descent, but the pilot behind me had no regards for the pilot in front of him (that is me). He was descending at the same rate as me but was going faster than me. Therefore, each minute, he was creeping closer and closer to my tail (like in those horror movies where the freaks would creep closer and closer by the second) to the point where he started to tailgate me. I got really annoyed, so I increased my rate of descent just to get him to pass above me and eventually he was right in front of me a few minutes later. If Center was active that day, they would’ve definitely told the pilot to slow down to allow considerable separation between me and him.
The moment when ATC on expert is offline, a lot of pilots decide to throw proper separation out of the window and decides to try to land as quickly as possible, even if it meant cutting lines, passing over traffic, or even fly directly into other traffic.

I dont think ive ever seen them post anything other than posts about the chaos that happens on the casual server and then the viewers who want to do that, dont understand that theres a difference in servers so they just expect they can do anything in any server.
