Yes the devs keep the app updated.
The last update on android was back in May 2023
Hey! Do you plan to add the MAX V-speeds?
So uhm, when will we see this app for newer android version? (it appears that this app isn’t available to mine, because it was made for older version of android) so… any news about it? didn’t read all comments as it’s too many LMAO
Gonna have to download this bro!
Love this app but hope there’s an update soon.
As a stop-gap, simply use the MAX 8 Flying Guide which includes V-speeds for various weight and thrust configurations.
I personally never use the V-speeds generated by IF-A. I find the ones on the official Infinite Flight guides as well as the ones Simbrief gives to be more accurate.
@epaga would it be possible to remove the “Prepare for take off” PA announcement when turning ON the strobe lights and keep it LAND Lights only?
Strobe lights are used for runway crossings as well, so many times the safety briefing announcement is cut off when crossing a runway and turning on strobe lights.
Thanks
Is it just me or is the webside a virus filled mess?
I wish the step climb auto detects the alititude entered in the fpl instead of manually typing it in
Bit late to the party, but this sounds like a great thing, definitely going to have to try it out
Been using this add on since its inception 10/10 !
I’ve been using 119, but I see 1.52 available by the Google Play Store listing.
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, but still have 119.
How do I access all these other cool tabs?
will this affect the stepclimb with this new autopilot+?
The RAAS feature does not seem to be working properly now after updating IF to v25.1, specifically when announcing “Approaching/On Runway XX” while taxiing for departure.
bump
I’m hoping my copy is just messed up somehow.
It will only be able to do stepclimbs when the flight is open and active.
So according to epaga on Discord on 03/31, IF-A is back burner indefinitely. Sigh.
Hello,
With the new Infinite Flight AP+ update, it’s now possible to fly with the device screen off. I’ve been using the IFAssistant app for a long time and find features like automatic altitude announcements very useful.
Now that AP+ allows background flying, I’m wondering if there are any plans to update IFAssistant to work in the background as well for example, to still give automated commands or perform functions without needing the screen to stay on.
Looking forward to your response.
Thank you!
That would not be an option.
IF-A runs on the local device.
Since the AP+ flight is “in the background” on the server, and not active on the local device, IF-A doesn’t “know” about that flight.
