Pretty sure this means that IFA isnt connected to IF not a problem with he plane. Make sure that API support is turned on.
Thanks fotlr the tip. Yes it’s got nothing to do with the plane. I tried an earlier recommendation from @Jan and it seems to be working: I need to start a flight first and than start IFA to get plane properly recognised. Odd this only happens with A339 and A388. All other planes are recognised properly even if IFA started before a flight is started in IF. When I say plane recognised, I should
really say the flight is not recognised to be exact.
(Note:this is on Tab S9 oneUI 6.0)
Any way to increase V/S speeds? (Climb speeds)
Now that we have the “retard” call out in game. Would it be possible to add the “100 above” and “minimums” call out as a feature on the app?
Pretty sure that has been in it since a while - mine certainly does it (can only talk for android though)
used to have this issue for a while - i used to open IFassitant before i opened IF and that seemed to cause the issue - what I do now is i start a flight in IF - and only connect the app once APU / Electricity is on - works fine for me now.
I meant in the airbus voice
Just did a flight with the MD-11 and DC-10 aircraft, and seems like the callouts as well as the Flight Alerts/NAV functions doesn’t work. The app calculates the Vspeeds ok, but at takeoff, the callouts don’t work, and also after putting my stepclimbs in the flight alerts/NAV tab, the AP doesn’t react and doesn’t climb as it should, in other aircraft works perfectly.
What device are you using?
An iPad 8th generation
Hello, I purchased the voice command pack but not sure why it doesn’t work? I’m using this on iPad and I’ve tried with different headsets as well but it doesn’t work. Am I missing something?
@Kostas_K - see this.
I’ve read this and I am following all the directions. I’m not native but I speak very clear and a British friend of mine has tried as well but in general it appears as if it does nothing. We say the commands but there’s no indication on the screen that our voices are heard or something. How everyone else know that it’s working before they start speaking to the mic?
It’s the live voice recognition that has always been a problem for IF assistant, though the rest of the app works perfectly.
The problem is, it only really works with an American accent. Most of the comments regarding this on the App Store relate to the voice recognition, and even a clear British voice will struggle with it.
Hope you find the rest of the app worthwhile 🫡
try simbrief
Great app love it, i don’t do a flight without it. Are there any updates or reworks being added?
Hoping the AP off sound for the MD is changed. Right now it uses a GA one.
Hi, just seeing this. Is this still worth it this time?
Edit: I just bought it lol.
It’s soo nice but could you consider making a free app with less features to get more people on the platform?
Is this app still updated or is it dead in the waters?
