About Buffalo Niagara International Airport
Buffalo Niagara International originally opened in 1927, under the name of Buffalo Municipal Airport, making it one of the oldest airports in the United States. Passenger & Mail service then started in December of 1927. The current terminal was built & completed on Novemeber 3, 1997. You can read more about Buffalo Niagara International Airport here.
A Quick Note From Me
I chose Buffalo Niagara because this is a vacation place for me to visit relatives & what I have seen is one of the more underrated and under-appreciated airports in IF. This is also my first time hosting an event and am excited to finally be a host. Since this is my first time, I would encourage feedback on this event so I can apply it to this event & future events. My main goal is for everyone to enjoy this event as a way to have fun as the holiday season approaches, pun DEFINITELY intended.

All routes originally listed are the most flown routes from Buffalo for each airline. Buffalo Niagara’s terminal is quite small, so all destinations can not be accommodated. I have included a list of alternate routes below for each airline if you would like a different destination. Try to only choose routes that are on the list to keep as much realism as possible. Spawn in at least 10-15 minutes before departure. Runways, ATIS, & other info will be sent out on the thread on the day of the event. If you are flying Commercial, Cargo or Charter, please file a flight plan prior to departure. If you are flying GA, a flight plan is not necessary. The Buffalo Seven Departure is also required to use if not flying VFR.
