ILS LOWI RWY 26

I think that you can see what the problem is:

How come this happens! I can’t use my APPR or else my plane will turn away from the runway! Solutions?

Hello!

This is not an issue :) LOWI uses a different kind of approach.
@Moritz or perhaps @Adrien can explain it in greater detail as i always forget… :)

How come? How do I do an approach?

You fly it manually :)

Why? There’s an ILS approach.

No, this is not an ILS approach. It’s what i do believe is called LOC approach.
Unfortunately, Infinite Flight does not support that at this time.

It says ILS in the blue circle!

The approach at LOWI starts with a loc approach then you turn off the localizer and do a visual approach

Yes, as i said. Infinite Flight does currently not support LOC.

So I just fly a manual approach?

It is an LOC approach…only way to fly this perfect is to have the charts and step down fix by fix to the correct altitude. the Glideslope (which is on the right by the altitude is unreliable and you must use the localizer (need that is lined up on your compass…

To sum it up, the localizer needed and the step down altitude is the only thing you can trust

Basically, Yes, for the time being you fly the approach manually.

Piggy backing on what he said

The loc is offset from the runway, it’s only meant to bring you with visual range of the runway so you can perform a visual landing. I think

… and don’t forget the circle to land.
