Illinois One is Back @ KPHX

hello again, i’m back this time doing some evening/golden hour spotting which was fun

illinois one has returned back to the lineup and now i can say i’ve seen every state special livery swa has

anyway onto the pictures

illi close up as she started her taxi out bound for Indianapolis

Colorado One pulled up for a boop

a traditional A321 floats on by the mesa hangar

i still prefer this sun country livery over the new one

idk but i like this crop

milliseconds before disaster as this was the hardest max landing i’ve ever seen 😂

can’t have a proper spotting topic without Southwest

the brits and a beautifully lit Piestewa peak

pure eye candy

closing it off with a golden moody max

yayyy, Illinois One is back! I can’t wait to never have it come to SNA, still waiting for the new TN1. But in all seriousness, it looks very nice. I think it fits the -800 better than TN1. Lovely shots btw. Those clouds with the BA are absolutely magnificent.

100% agree with you

while i definitely prefer the 77W, the 35K is a nice jet

77W>35K

thank you! i wanna move outta here it’s impossible to spot in the summer

Thank you!

I definitely agree Illinois looks better on the -800 than TN1. TN1 looks too stretched. Glad you like the BA shot!

I remember tracking it on FR24 when it went to Victorville. I used to plane spot these livery’s exclusively when they flew out of Burbank cause I live on the takeoff route.
