IFJoystickPi - connect your joystick devices to IF using a Raspberry Pi! (Free Beta)

How are people doing in regards to setting this up?

Long ago now did i say i’d give it a shot on one of my own pis, and today I got it working… with a bit of a twist… Now I can use an actual yoke with IF all on my pc

Edit: after a departure from Seattle, I can confirm this program works very well. The only hitch i had with it after getting it running was having to invert the rudder, but all around very good!

Where’d you get those pedals from? I’m looking into buying some sim equipment along with the joystick

Do you need a pc for this wether it’s to get started or use it?? As I only have an iPad, Android phone and a TV, No pc or anything

I mean it says it’s a raspberry pi program but I imagine it can run on other linux devices as well so probably not either of your devices

Hi!!! Sorry for the delay in responding. I’ll send this video to get an idea.

Hello everyone!
I have a question, is this program still working? I got my RBP and Joystick up and running but it is not connecting to IF. It says “scanning for Infinite Flight Instance”. Infinite Flight API is enabled and my iPad and RBP are in the same Wifi Network.
Does anyone have an idea what I should do?
Thanks guys!

It is still working.

Did you enable Infinite Flight Connect in the settings?

Yes I did that. That’s why I am wondering.

Getting the thrustmaster Airbus controls for Christmas. Can’t wait to use it on If!

Going to try this with my pi zero w 2. Great looking project!

I have that Joystick as well. It feels absolutely amazing! But I couldn’t get it to work with IF.

I pretty much just saw this, after a while of using Map Connect. Feel like it is definitely worth buying a Raspberry Pi for this (since components such as rudder don’t work on my current software). I’m terrible at any sort of coding - so if anyone could give me a ‘baby’ run down that would be great. Yes, I have looked at that daunting long list of instructions… thanks! Though, if anyone could point me in the right direction for other softwares compatible with Mac to connect a joystick to IF, that would be amazing.

@Robuser1 Hey friend! I can help you, but take a look and see if you can follow these steps.

Bro, that comment was 5 years ago…

But the information needed to make it work is the same, Bro.

By the looks of it, he isn’t even here anymore. And he had 5 years to do anything else.
