Here’s my take:
Editing pros: beautiful photos, scenery, shows lots of potential and it gives people a bit of a hard time to pick!
Cons: some may be over edited, hard editing

Update

The people have spoken, editing is now going to be allowed. However, the pictures must still stick to the guidelines and no excessive editing must be used. I will have final say on this matter if I deem it to be over edited (eg adding rain). Also, please refrain from using watermarks where possible to avoid people voting for your pictures based on who has submitted it.

I am pleased to announce that the IFC Screenshot Champions League has received its first sponsor! @SouthwestVirtual have very graciously chosen to sponsor this wonderful competition and I am sure they are just as excited as I am to see what great pictures can come from this competition!
