Hey there fellow aviators! Welcome to the IFC’s member airport database. This is a wiki-style topic where we can compile a list of all the airports community members have flown into. Here’s how it’s going to work:
Airports must be listed alphabetically by the airport’s ICAO code as a drop down list.
Users may add their username by tagging themselves underneath any airport they have visited. If you have visited an airport that is not listed, feel free to create a new listing.
You may include airlines you have flown into as a passenger or as a pilot. Please denote airports you have flown into as a pilot by writing your username in italics.
You may only list airports you have flown into, you may not airports you have only visited, spotted at, etc.
If your TL is not high enough to edit the wiki, you can list your airports below and a fellow member will be happy to add it for you.
Please be VERY careful when editing the post. Have so many drop-down lists can be complicated, and one wrong move can completely mess up the code.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong but only TL3 members and staff can edit the topic which means that 95% of the community can’t edit this topic. This could make it very difficult for moderators and regulars because they would have to check in and edit this thread regularly
Agreed, haha. While I think it’s interesting, I just took a look at my IRL flight log and I’ve flown into 50+ airports, most aren’t on the OP, and I’m not TL3 so I can’t edit it. I don’t see many TL3s taking the time to add around 50 airports to this list for me🙃
Yeah this might be difficult, the better way might be to link a google spreadsheet with allowances to edit and then at the end of everyday you add into this what people have added on the sheet or something like that.
