Welcome to the 2024 IFC Awards!
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the ninth annual IFC Awards, the fifth that I have had the gracious honor of hosting. The IFC Awards is the annual showcase of the IFC’s most outstanding people, organizations, and works.
Voting in this year’s awards will follow the same system of voting adopted for IFC Awards 2021, with a two-round system culminating in a final round taking place during the final week of 2024.
A few minor changes have been made to the awards have been made this year. A full list of the awards is listed below.
Prior to 2021, voting would occur in a single write-in round, with multiple Google forms and a winner being determined from this single round. However, this system has been replaced with a two-round voting system, with the intent of maximizing vote totals and preventing ties.
In the nomination round, you will have the opportunity to submit any applicable nominee into the respective category. From here, the top choices from each category will be placed onto a final vote, which will commence seven days prior to the end of the voting period. A second vote will be opened, where you will only be able to choose from the nominees listed on the final vote. From there, the highest vote getters will be recognized as the winners of IFC Awards 2024 in a topic that will be posted on January 1, 2025.

Times are subject to change for any reason. I will communicate any necessary changes as needed.

A valid IFC account is required to participate in voting. Users will be checked to determine legitimacy.

The Google Form used in the Nomination Round may only be filled out once. Duplicate votes, including the use of VA accounts, may result in the nullification of all votes related to the user in question.

Once nomination votes are submitted, they cannot be altered. Please ensure that you are satisfied with your votes and have reviewed your entries prior to submitting this form.

All categories are 100% optional. This means that as many categories can be voted upon as you wish. However, if you choose to leave a category blank, you may not vote for someone after submitting the form. If you choose to leave a category blank, leave the field blank in this form. Do NOT type idk, nobody, or N/A.

In typing usernames, please type the full IFC username of the person you wish to nominate. No exceptions will be made to this policy, and any votes with usernames that cannot be traced down will be discarded. For topic links, please either type in the topic’s full name or provide a direct link

Changes to the Best Virtual Airline category
Starting this year, the Best Virtual Airline will be separated into regions for the Nomination Round. After the Nomination Round, the top finishers by region will be selected as the finalists on the Final Round ballot for Best Virtual Airline.
