IFATC not responding to me

Im at PDX, ive requested numerous times to taxi. controllers is not responding to me and sending everyone else out before me. what is going on? is this a gltich? when i switched out of frequency he said to me to contact ground wtf???

I successfully requested pushback (he responded), i later requested taxi once prepped. and now im stuck in the quiet zone

(i send ATC a DM already, no response)

can anyone get a hold of @Junior_Lawrence?

how long have you been waiting? 2-3 minutes is normal if it’s really busy. If it’s more than 5 minutes than that’s a issue. How long has it been?

9-10 minutes

If you are in a conventional stand, you should ask for pushback first.

wait let me edit my post so everyone can see

it does not matter. 9-10 minutes without reply no matter what is it. is unacceptable

like at least a standby should be said

They will get back to you as soon as they can. If they are controlling then don’t expect a response from them until after they are finished with their session as they are already preoccupied.

There could also be a chance your connection may not be stable or some other potential glitch. A controller cannot ignore an aircraft on purpose

now i just got a repsnse to request frequency change??? like nothing ever happened??? oy vey

I am tracking you on LiveFlight. You are taxiing.

indeed. i just kinda gave up and started moving. then requested frequency change. and he said freq change approved LOL

Speedrun for a violation:

I’ll get in to see what’s going on. In the meantime, continue as filed.

Please do not request for taxi multiple times in a short period of time.Because IFATC can report you for “Repeatedly send messages”

tbf i only started doing that after a few mins when other ppl started getting clearances before me (others who requested much after me), including someone right in front of me lol

That’s against the rules. Don’t repeat that as you’re basically asking for a violation.

I’m in the sim. You’re still taxiing. I do not know what communication has been exchanged, but you’re supposed to be on ground right now.

Actually you can check the ATC chat history ,and pay attention for environment.Maybe there was a conflict in taxiing.

IFATC can report him

it is a gltich. end of story. ATC responded and said they responded to me numerous times. i didnt get a single one of those commands. and they likely didnt receive any of mine. unfortunate these bugs exist. might have somehting to do with update

Haha, it’s a bug!

Eh. They’re now lining up. This would be a complicated case and with a good defense, could be pulled off in the trial.

Whatever happened, I’d recommend, be forgotten, and never repeated. Just don’t taxi without permission. It is an infraction and punishable. If you are dealing with the bug, leave the flight. It can save your record.

Now, to end with a rather ironic tone, @Captain_Oblivious, I’d like to say that, despite claiming to “best be sure it’s realistic [your callsign]”, I can say that your callsign is anything but realistic.
