Just a second ago I landed at melbourne without gear XD.
How often does this happen? Do you laugh when it happens?
(feel free to ask any other questions aswell)

Happened (notably) once in my almost 4 years on the sim (and as ATC). Pretty good record I say
Honestly, never saw that
I see more people crash while attempting to land at 200kts+ than without gear…
Always makes me chuckle a bit
If I’m being quite frank with you, I’ve actually never seen this before. In fact, I mostly see pilots overrunning the runway, landing on the grass, or just simply spinning out of control. Maybe it does happen often, but I don’t see it because I usually control with the black background setting.
Can’t recall if this happened before, but I’ve seen a few aircraft become ballerinas on the runway.
Only happened to me once in my 8 years of being related to IF
😢😢 you flew without me… just kidding lol how do you manage to do that lol. You must be a pro do land without a gear I always crash when I do it on solo. I’ve got to try it one day.
I was just doing some patternwork, and I was like, why am I not on the ground. So I pushed it down slightly, and then I slowed to 60kts in like 3s and I was like. OH SH*T
It’s not fun when one occupies the runway and prevent me from allowing departing or arriving aircraft. Yes, it’s happened.
wdym occupies?
When an aircraft occupies a runway, they are on the runway. Therefore, another aircraft cannot land nor depart.
but wdym when “occupy”. Like do they just sit there XD
Honestly, there was a time I forgot that I had runway crossing cleareance and requested again for that 🤣
In any way across the runway-guard line (HS line).
Had to abort an approach due to that. My landing parameters just weren’t met at 1000’ AGL which is my DH for a stable approach.
