Read. The. Manual.
Reading the manual thoroughly will give you a much higher success rate on both exams. Opening an ATC tracking thread will do wonders as well. Once you have passed the written exam, asking your recruiter to sign you up for the training program is highly, highly recommended. Stay calm, accept criticism, learn from your mistakes and most importantly of them all: have fun

Hope to see you in the IFATC discord soon!

In addition to what Callaa said, there are helpful tutorial videos on Infinite Flight’s YouTube channel: https://m.youtube.com/@infiniteflight/featured

Best of luck on your exams and we can’t wait to have you on the team :)

By far… the best recomendation for you is the following: you can and probably will be feeling frustrated of the amount of new info you’ll learn and how to excecute in the practices, but don’t never give up. From my personal experience; I had to wait over 6 months and two applications later to be Specialist, I had nights that I didn’t get anything from my trainer told, some nights I kept making the same mistakes; still I had my hard earned priviledge to control IF airspace. And if you’re accepted; start small, continue on big. Godspeed

my suggestion is take the IFATC practice written test. you can take this as many as possible to practice for written. you can also read the manual and watch the youtube video as stated above to sharpen your knowledge and skills. best of luck!

@captBob I would suggest looking at tutorials on YouTube for example Tyler’s video about the “Perfect ATC test”, this is extremely useful and this will help you understand how controlling local works. Good luck and the IFATC team will wait for you 👍
