Edition 4 of the IF48 Event Series has arrived, and this time we’re heading to East Asia. This edition features operations across three major hubs: Tokyo Narita (RJAA), Taipei Taoyuan (RCTP), and Beijing Capital International Airport (ZBAA). With three of the region’s airports in focus, the stage is set for 48 hours of flying across East Asia, even with historic aircraft! So, who’s ready to take part?

Server: ES (Primary), TS & CS
This is an all-servers event, so no matter your grade, you’ll be able to spawn in and take part. However, the primary server for this event will be the Expert Server, where most of the traffic and ATC coverage will be focused.

- We encourage everyone to use the suggested aircraft & airlines listed above for each route.
- As always, expert server pilots are required to comply with IFATC and to follow ALL expert server rules. Failure to comply with ES rules will result in violations being issued.
- Delays are likely, especially during peak hours. Expert Server ATC might send arriving traffic into holding patterns to effectively manage high volumes of traffic.

Taipei resident here and frequent flyer out of RCTP IRL and as Sim pilot.
If you’re using Simbrief and it plots you at FL150+ while parallel and directly across from the aiport when approaching from the North, its not mimicking real world and setting you up for an overspeed descent as you enter base. I recommend revising the STAR manually using the map tools in Infinite Flight and setting altitudes in alignment with the Jeppesen chart.
