I would love to start an airline based in Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. This airline would be named Great Lakes Airways because of the area surrounding it. We strive for premium comfort and reliability. (I need more experience in the VA’s before I even attempt.)

Callsign: Great Lakes

Hubs:
O’Hare International Airport - (KORD)
Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (KSEA)
Logan International Airport (KBOS)

Fleet
A319 - 160 seats in a two-class setup - used for short connection flights (8)
B739ER - 180 seats in a two-class setup - used for domestic medium range flights
A333 - 311 seats in a three-class setup - used for domestic long flights (15)
B789 - 345 seats in a three-class setup - used for long transatlantic flights (18)
A350 - 300 seats in a three-class setup - used for even longer ranged flights departing from West USA. (5)

Destinations

Los Angeles International Airport
Heathrow Airport
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport
London City Airport
Dubai International Airport
Singapore Changi Airport
Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport
Plus a lot more Domestic and International Flights.

Great Lakes Airways wants to emphasize the “customers first” mentality, all of our international flights offer free IFE and 1 round of drinks. Wifi is readily available throughout all flights without additional cost besides your ticket. Regarding baggage, there is a one bag per person (free) policy and it has to be under 39lbs weighted at the gate.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK, I EVENTUALLY WANT TO MAKE THIS DREAM A REALITY

You mean like 2 inch legroom? @Cpt.Sparryax

I don’t think that you’re allowed to do that because of the emergency exits. Get a -900ER if you want close to that capacity (220 seats max)

Nice airline! It would be nice to see this airline in real life maybe VA first XD. But one question: Do you fly to KSJC (San Jose International)?

I’m not rich enough or smart enough to create an real life company, But I’ll work towards getting this started as a VA. Also we have connection flights from KSJC but we do not fly from KSJC internationally.

Aww, but KSJC is San Jose International Airport! XD

Ehh, I can’t control your future VA. Good luck!

I’m still deciding on my international airport, but who knows maybe KSJC would be the west coast international airport… XD

If I were to start an airline it would be a international carrier flying around the world. Its name would be Fresno air named after the city I live in.

I think you should make liveries for your airlines.

This is just a livery from one of my fictional airlines.
