I can’t tell you the last time I controlled LaGuardia and there wasn’t a cactus 1549 somewhere in the airport. It’s sad, it really is.

I understand where you are coming from, though here in New York, it was horrifying for everyone. Sure, everyone survived but it’s called a miracle for a reason. It was a horrific sight, and passengers and crew are still affected today.

Just because everyone’s physical wounds have healed doesn’t mean there’s not any sustained injury - far from it. Captain Sully himself has talked at length about his experiences with PTSD, and a Charlotte woman onboard the flight, Denise Lockie, was so traumatized by the incident that she lost her job.
There’s not specific studies on US Airways 1549, but in studies of survivors from other plane crashes, but a study of plane crash survivors in Amsterdam (Flores-Mir, Lagravère-Vich, & Major, 2015), found that 46% of passengers were at risk for PTSD and 33% were at risk for depression. So it’s almost a guarantee that the majority of the passengers onboard 1549 experience some lingering mental health issues, which can be just as debilitating as physical ones.

This is the one accident I’m fine with people replicating. Not sure why everyone is acting like it’s MH370 situation. Cactus 1549 is called “The Miracle on The Hudson” for a reason

Honestly, people acting like this is disrespectful need a reality check. It’s a video game. It’s not like they’re going out of their way to purposely disrespect people involved in the accident. It’s a way for the people to simulate actually being under those circumstances.
Stop treating others negatively for actions that don’t harm you or others.

Honestly the people crashing a plane on expert server for fun are either kids or also need a reality check- it’s pretty annoying flying into LaGuardia when there’s a crashed plane
