IF Memories: Paid regions, IF 𝘓𝘪𝘷𝘦, paid app, etc

I just flew the free planes, and then took a 3 year break, and came back a few months ago

Oh man, old Infinite Flight will always have a special place in my heart; back when Infinite Flight was a paid app, had various regions, older scenery and textures, and planes that are either free or paid each. Infinite Flight has definitely changed a lot in these past few years.

I bought pretty much almost the entire catalog of the aircrafts available before Infinite Flight decided to no longer allow users to buy individual planes. That means that I can enjoy flying the following aircrafts in the regions that I paid for pre-2017 without an Infinite Flight Pro subscription in the sim today, even after the aircrafts are fully reworked:

Boeing

1. Boeing 787 family
2. Boeing 777 family (except the 777-200LR)
3. Boeing 767-300
4. Boeing 757-200
5. Boeing 747-8
6. Boeing 747-200
7. Boeing 737-800
8. Air Force One

Airbus

1. A330-300
2. A330-200F
3. A340-600
4. A318 and A319

Embraer

1. E-190
2. E-170 (I hope the developers rework and bring this aircraft back!)

Bombardier

1. Dash-8 Q400

and of course the F-16C. It sure is nice to have the aircrafts I paid for get reworked and then enjoy flying the reworked aircrafts all for free lol.

As for the paid regions, I got Seattle, New York, Miami, The Caribbean (St. Maarten), Denver, and Hawaii (which is now free to all non-Pro users).

I get quite nostalgic when talking about old Infinite Flight. I’ve made a lot of childhood memories with old Infinite Flight. I enjoyed sitting in my room with the air conditioning and flying around for fun with others online back in 2016. So many good memories.

I hope that young players in the sim currently can make good memories with the current Infinite Flight. If you are young and small and are playing this sim, make the most out of it while you still can! Time becomes really limited as we all grow up, so we should all cherish the time that we have in the moment and try to make the most out of it!

Not that old but old enough to remember some retired features - such as airport runway markings… I started playing in 2021, got pro late 22 and have been flying almost every day since

Wow! Amazing reply. I also had New York. I remember when I tried recreating the Hudson Bay landing! I would record it and try making my own “Sully” when I was a child :) Great memories. I would also secretly buy gift cards so I could uphold my Live subscription. I really enjoyed those times. I wish I hadn’t taken so long breaks in between my IF periods.
