With the introduction of global the amount of data being streamed is much higher. The terrain and a few other items were removed for performance reasons. They may return one day.
There is no need for a feature request for 1) there is already one out there 2) FDS is aware of the desire for it.

Globe is a little to big to get a map with terrain don’t you think?

Maybe we can have the current map for the whole world, and in a zoomed in area it can show the higher detailed map

As a controller you can still see altitudes when vectoring planes as an approach controller.
