Maybe check the network speed and quality by running a speed test app?
Also try another Wi-Fi network to see what happens.
If i am correct both of your devices are on the same network.Try to upgrade or recheck your wifi.try rebooting,restarting your devices. If the error still occurs check if your other apps work, if they work check your storage compartments
