Why hasn’t there been an app for this? The website works fine but an app would be better for the simple reason that you can get notifications easier rather than email all the time.
If it ever becomes a thing something like this could work:
Search for “Discourse” in the store. Been out for years and is used by many.
Discourse is the platform that our Community is based on.
either that or most mobile browsers have the ability to install the website as an app (sort of). also you should be able to get push notifications by looking at the settings on the ifc!
I meant more of a dedicated app, something that can be linked directly to the main game to join live events, view current players through a world map or something similar.
Since we’re using a 3rd party platform. It’s not possible.
But it may be something that will come the other way around in the future.
And I never get any emails. Just app notifications from the Discourse app about things happening in here.
It’s open source is it not? Can’t the code be used in the app that way?
We’re not self-hosted. So not quite.
And as I mentioned, we’re looking into integrating things into the actual app more than the other way around.
Ahhhh ok. Makes sense, in that case I look forward to seeing something soon.
You can also always make a bookmark and add it to your home screen, which is what I do!
