IF Automatically disconnects over Cellular Data

Hey folks

Recently I was doing a flight on the Expert Server and I noticed that the IF Server seems to automatically disconnect itself after sometime while on Cellular Data though its stable (5G network btw) and ig I’ve been facing this issue from the versions post 24.3 / 25.1

Am I the only one who’s facing this issue?

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing difficulties enjoying Infinite Flight.

To start off, could you please answer the following questions:

Do you get any error codes whatsoever?
Does this issue only occur when flying on cellular data?
Is your connection to the Expert server more stable when flying on a Wi-Fi network (if applicable)?

Additionally, could you please let us know what your ISP for your cellular data is?

Same here! My Infinite Flight also disconnects when I use cellular data—it works fine on Wi-Fi though.

1. As far as the error codes is concerned I don’t get any kind of error codes. The connection status to the server would be active [All green] ](on the top right side corner) and after sometime it disconnects [Red exclaimation sign] out of random and all services are not disconnected only the expert/training server for the matter.
2. Yes the issue primarily occurs while flying on cellular data. And since the autodisconnect happens there have been instances where I have got a violation in such cases.
3. The issue I’m encountering is on cellular data not on Wi-Fi (happens only when the network is weak or something of that sort)

In addition to this the reconnecting process is rather manual, I have to manually turn off and on the cellular data in my mobile and then wait for it to turn on and then have to tune into CTAF or GND/TWR/APPR frequencies again. Which I believe in busy airspaces isn’t a good idea and chances of getting a violation are too high.
