Does IF Assistant not do step climbs anymore?
I don’t seem to be having any issues.
Just inputting the FL in app?
After creating or loading the FPL, it will show up in the Alerts/NAV tab in In-Flight Assistant.
You have to manually set the desired ALT per waypoint in IF-A.

Yup. Did that – the announcements and callouts happen, just not the climbs 🥲
Did you enable LNAV in Infinite Flight?
LNAV: Yes
VNAV: No (not yet)
Just to be sure, which device are you using and what OS version is it running?
Are you on the latest version of Infinite Flight, 24.3.5?
Device is iPad mini (6th gen)
IF is 24.3.5
OS is 17.6.1
I just tested on a second device and I have no issues.
The ALTs set on the Alerts/NAV tab in IF-A appear in the ALT section of the autopilot every time.
Did you set these ALTs?
If so, maybe reboot the device?
I did set them myself.
(1) Loaded in
(2) Opened IF-A (connection successful) – no FPL in Alerts/NAV
(2) Simbrief FPL creation (w/ ETOPS and Step Climbs)
(3) Load Simbrief from IF
(4) Re-opened IF-A – FPL now shows in Alerts/NAV but NO alts are there
(5) Manually loaded FL’s to Alerts/NAV
(6) Flight 🛫
(7) No step climbs 🤷🏽♂️
Will reboot and update to latest OS for next flight. Let’s see – thx @Jan, appreciate ya 🙏🏽

I did the exact same things without issues.
You do need to enable LNAV as step 7 though, but you already said you did that. :)
Hopefully a device reboot will help.

btw – did your ALTs pre-load? if so, they’re a bit off :P
What do you mean exactly?
I just entered them manually into IF-A.
In this case, the ones provided by SimBrief make the aircraft climb way too steeply.

Waypoint KF272:
- IF: 8,100ft
- IF-A: FL30 (3,000ft)
Waypoint KF221:
- IF: FL152 (15,200ft)
- IF-A: FL45 (4,500ft)
etc 😅

(For me, ascents are usually chill from simbrief, the descents are diabolical tho…)
Correct.
You need to set those manually.
