Emergencies in IF

So, how this would work is a random generator would produce a value, and ceartain values would do emergencies such as medical emergency, technical failure etc. and there would be a command such as “New York Departure, Cactus 1549 declaring an emergency, diverting to the Hudson River.” A way to make sure no emergencies during a long flight, there cannot be an emergency while VNAV/LNAV is on

Emergencies - Birdstrike, Fuel Leak, Engine Failure

I think it shall be fine if emergencies got added to the gameplay… Like Engine Failures because of Birdstrike… Add Flocks of Birds flying around the airports or even fuel leaks, etc. So that we could have emergencies that would challenge our flying skills or reject takeoff’s. Imagine gliding from 8000 feet without any power at all and make it to the runway

Surprise Component Failures (Engine, Gear etc.)

⬇️ Please read before you comment :) ⬇️ It would be pretty cool, and it would definitely add to the realism if we would be able to have the option to set possible failures for our flight, such as engine failures / fires, none / not all landing gear comes down, bird strike, water landing, and much much more… I know what you’re going to say… “You can just shut an engine off or not bring the gear down.” While that is true, it would be more exciting for us pilots if the events happen at a random t…
