Icelandair Returns to Portland!

Icelandair has plans to resume flights to Portland, Oregon.

This comes after Iceland announced the reopening of its borders to anyone with a COVID-19 vaccine without the need to quarantine or testing. This allows more routes to resume, and will bring tourists back to Iceland.

The flights begin on July 2nd, they will depart Portland, and will be three times a week, these days are Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and this will go through the end of October. The flights to Portland will land on Saturdays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

  • KEF - PDX
    Departure time is 4:50 pm
    Arrival time is 5:50 pm
    Aircraft in use: B757-200

  • PDX - KEF
    Departure time is 3:35 pm
    Arrival time is 6:05 am
    Aircraft is use: B757-200

Nice! I remember going to PDX and seeing the Iceland Air B757! Now it’ll be back!
