Iberia Douglas DC-8-50

One of my favorite aviation photographs of all time. Beautiful colors and lighting, quite a crisp photograph given its age. Incredible detail, with the person standing in the door, the intricate lights and support vehicles around the aircraft. Iberia’s livery looked amazing: the font “Lineas Aereas de España” is perfect, the globe with the “IB”, the “Iberia text”, and finally the red cheat line with the chrome beneath.

If the DC-8 is ever added someday, this is one of those “required liveries”.
