Welcome to another #features request, this time featuring Iberia’s A340-600 in the iconic 1977 livery!
Iberia has operated a total of 18 Airbus A340-600s, with the deliveries going from 2003 to 2010, however sadly these beautiful aircraft have been retired prematurely in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a little fun fact, Iberia has also operated the very last A340 built, registered as EC-LFS and named "Ciudad de México.
About the livery itself, it’s super iconic and probably fits the best in the A340-600, with it also being Iberia’s long haul flagship in the 2000s and 2010s, proudly sporting this beautiful livery across the world. Their current livery was released in 2013, however this classic livery is A LOT better.
In Infinite Flight this livery is currently only avaliable on the 747-200 and the CRJ-1000.
Also, this livery was designed by Landor Associates, the same who designed British Airways’ iconic and much-loved Landor livery.
Thanks for reading, I hope you can vote for this beauty!
I’m totally in love with this plane, as I flew it twice back in 2012 from Mexico to Madrid and Madrid to Mexico, when I flew on a long haul plane for the first time in my life!
Damn i wish i can still vote…unfortunately i ran out of posts.I would love this livery, its much more superior than their new one especially on the stunning A340-600
