Ian Fleming/James Bond Tribute Flight (TBM-930)

Good afternoon IFC! Today, I found the time to do a flight I have been wanting to do for a bit now. A few weeks ago, I was poking around the various airports in the Caribbean, and found MKBS in Jamaica. Better known as Ian Fleming Airport! Now, as a huge James Bond fan, I knew that I had to fly into this airport at some point. So today, I prepped the TBM-930 to fly out of the Everglades Airpark (X01). Hope you guys enjoy the pics from the flight!

Prepping for the flight, and fueling up

Starting up the avionics and other onboard systems (love the Infinite Flight logo!)

Taxiing to the runway and setting flaps for takeoff

Bye bye ground!

Last bit of land to see for a while!

It’s nice to fly over Cuba without worrying about nukes!

First sight at the island of Jamaica!

On descent, looking for the airfield. GPS says It’s ahead of us. Hopefully the GPS is accurate!

Found it!

Shutting down the engine after parking in the tie-down area. Time to walk around a bit!
