I wouldn’t consider this a bug, since this was put in there a while ago, and you’re using the Drone Cam. Usually, when you’re in the cockpit, he is removed from the scene as to not interfere with your piloting. Aircraft in the game will do the same thing if you go inside of them. I’m not sure what others would think of this situation though :)
