How can I get in touch with one of the recruiters??
Here you go.

Be sure to fulfill all the requirements (including TL, like @Alphadog4646 said). Only contact one recruiter. Good luck!
You have to be TL1 so keep liking and being active in the community.
@TaipeiGuru added the thread🙂👍
What is tl?
TL is “Trust Level” 👍
You’re currently Trust level 0
For more info relating Discourse Trust Levels, please visit the following website:
Keep being a helpful & active member in the community and you should reach TL2 in no time. While this is happening I’d advice you to watch a few tutorials, trust me when I say this those tutorials are gold!
But the requirements are only TL1 for IFATC
He’s a TL0
I know, @Luke_L was saying that you need to be TL2 [quote=“Luke_L, post:7, topic:372067”]
you should reach TL2 in no time

My apologies TL1 is required not TL2.
It’s great to hear you want to work towards IFATC.
Most IFATCs are active members of this forum and (oh gosh I hope) great and exemplary pilots.
Can I suggest you start with that first?
I see you’ve spend 8 minutes on this forum since you joined in July this year. So my recommendation is, to become a valued and contributing member of this forum, be a great pilot following all instructions, view all the IFATC tutorials a few times and be a great controller in Training Server.
As active member you will bump into the ATC Tracking threads. Start one yourself and receive feedback in your controlling.
All the best and have fun.
Hey there! First, all of the best on your IFATC journey. I recommend starting an ATC tracking thread and more experienced controllers will come and fly a pattern and then give you feedback. I recommend you spend more time on the forum too, this will also get you to TL1. To get to TL1 (the required TL for IFATC) keep reading, liking, and posting and you’ll be there in a very short time. And then, take the knowledge exam. After that, contact a recruiter. Then, if you get above 80% on your knowledge exam, you will take the practical exam. This is just seeing how you can handle 4-5 planes and seeing if you’re qualified for IFATC. I hope you all of the best in your IFATC journey!
I’ve just been looking through the thread here and I don’t want to sound rude or anything but once a point has been conveyed, I don’t think the same point has to be conveyed multiple times (regarding Trust Levels). I understand you lot are trying to contribute to the community which is a good thing but if I was an ATC right now, I would be saying “Avoid sending duplicate messages”.
Whoop whoop, that’s the sound of the police… Whoop whoop that’s the sound of forum wannabes.
It’s good that multiple people say it, if I was someone new, I wouldn’t want one person to say it and have second thoughts about it being wrong.
One thing that nobody pointed out is that when the OP does reach TL1, he needs to go to the “Messages” Tab which can be found by clicking or tapping the profile image or circle on the top right of the screen and then tap the message icon. In there, you will see a list of previous replies… just click the downward arrow and you will be re-directed to the original messaging page where you will see a tab saying “New Message” you can find someone on the list of recruiters and enter their name there and begin composing your message.
We are all forum wannabes and you are no exception to it 🤷🏽‍♂️…There’s nothing wrong in something being conveyed multiple times but if it’s been done, might as well add something new onto it like you’ve done instead of repeating the same thing over and over again such as “You need to be an active member” or “spend more time on the forum”.
Contacting the recruiter is the first step. The theory exam will be given to you after you’ve contacted the recruiter.
Thanks for the feedback, I have done a good amount of ATC on Training and as a former Navy ATC it comes a bit easy although I wish I could do more voice than button pushing. Going to try and get certified, but the one thing that is hard to do given work constraints is the amount of time on the forum to qualify. But lets give it a run.
@Bobby_Burg Watch tutorials, read the atc manual and make an ATC tracking thread, just because you can control EGLL on training during peak times does not mean you’re ready for IFATC
Thanks for the feedback. Have done the tutorials, but will make an ATC thread as suggested. Have a good day.
