My solution to this problem years ago was to join a virtual airline/s that way I have routes to choose from without questioning where I should go or what to do.
Another option is to use ChatGPT and ask for 12h route suggestions with x aircraft, airline, etc.
ChatGPT will mostly likely end up referencing flights with a scheduled block time of 12 hours, which is different from flight time.

To a degree yeah, but you just got to factor in the element that flight time can be considerably less (sometimes even more) than block time.
You can specify block time vs flight time with GPT. It’s not a one way road.

You can considering working your way down from the ‘longest non-stop flights in the world’. I think the longest one is by Singapore airlines atm. Since you can now pause and resume flights you can always do the remainder of the journey over the weekends when there is no school 👍🏻
