I think RFS copied pasted from IF

So I was using RFS yesterday and I noticed something when flying the Cirrus SR22

Yep, from the exterior the cockpit is literally the old Cirrus cockpit from IF! Here’s the IF cockpit for those who think it could just be similar

Yeah they literally just pasted the IF cockpit onto their Cirrus SR22. Did Rortos have the right to do this? Probably not as I don’t think IF would give the rights of something to help their competitor.
I’m sure Rortos is definitely going to have some copyright infringement issues with IF

Wouldn’t be the first thing RFS copied…

cough cough the in-flight UI cough cough

The static image isn’t “copyrighted” by IF either imo. Here’s the original picture used in both cockpits

If the picture used is taken by one of the IF staff then it’ll have copyright issue. If not, I think at least we’re all good here

I don’t think RFS “copied”, after all, it IS the same aircraft. I believe it’s just a coincidence that they used the same PFD images. If you’re talking about the rest of it, I think it’s just because it’s the same aircraft and RFS and IF both did a good/ similar model.

If model of the SR22 is ancient. And the cockpit is old and static. The static cockpit is literally the same as the one in RFS. In fact would you guys like me to check all the other RFS planes cockpits from the exterior to see if it is copied from IF?

I strongly agree infinite flight is the best no wonder they copied infinite flight.

They gonna copy the hell out of Auto pilot + too. lol

Autopilot+ would be a lot harder to copy then say the in-flight UI.

I don’t even think RFS has managed to copy Flight Resume yet so good luck :joy:

On mobile right? Not saying it’s the best sim overall cause it ain’t beating Xplane 12 or MSFS

well obviously on mobile mate:joy::joy:

I bet you haven’t seen RFS’ user interface then

I heard they’re rebranding to Real Infinite Simulator very soon

‘Real Infinite Simulator’ :skull: :skull:

Now they’re trying to make it obvious

I’ve played both sims. RFS has some advantages as it has weather and dynamic lighting but the aircraft are way worse. The buttons are low resolution, On vintage planes like the 707 or 737-200 you can’t really see your airspeed on the speedometer as it is blurry. The only planes RFS does better than Infinite Flight are the 767, 747 and the A340 as IF does not even have a 3D cockpit for those planes. But honestly the non live cockpit 787, MD-11 and CRJs are better than RFS’s as the PFD of the CRJ is the PFD of the A320 and the MD-11 and 787 have 737 PFDs

X-Plane Mobile is the best mobile flight simulator in terms of physics and realism. Neither Infinite Flight nor RFS can come close to what X-Plane offers in those departments. However, X-Plane is extremely buggy, and some aircraft are just completely unusable. Infinite Flight excels in aircraft options, livery selection, and has the best flight sim community out there. I’ve been flying both Infinite Flight and X-Plane Mobile for many years now, so I can objectively say that X-Plane Mobile is the better simulator if you’re looking for realism and overall the highest quality imaginable. That said, Infinite Flight meets all of my needs and requirements—and that’s a tall order.

Yeah I also think Xplane and Aerofly best IF any day when it comes to physics and realism as they have interactive cockpits
