Just wanted to tell you about the situation that happened rn. So I woke up and decided to look where I fly. I saw that I flew 6 hours already. I checked the map and… I saw I was only ubder japan. Not even under Alaska. Then, I realised thats because my Flight plan was kinda bad and I had to removve some WPTs. Now I have 58% Fuel and I hope it Will atrive at Cancun safely.

Hello! I’m sorry that this happened to you. When you checked your device, was there a battery remaining warning? I know from personal experience that sometimes I will forget to plug in my iPad, then when I get back, I’ll be at the same place, due to the fact that the battery warning will suspend your application and disconnect you from the live server if left sitting for too long.

Yep this can also happen if the device js off, you will stay in place.

I like spent these 6 hours turbibg Around cause my Flight plan had some useless WPTs so my plane was Just literally turning Around because distance vetweent some WPTs were Really small

Ah, I see. That is something that can happen if your waypoints are too close together. Before taking off, I make sure to check my flight plan and note any waypoints that are close together and either be at my device to monitor the turn or delete them altogether. If your plane is going 500+ knots GS at cruise altitude, and you have 2 waypoints that cause a sharp turn, I would get rid of one to avoid it automatically trying to correct itself by making you do circles until it hits that waypoint, which it never will.

Yeah I forgot to check when I was making it… I Just already wanted to take off, get to thr Cruising altitude and go to my precious bed
Hahaha, I get it. Sometimes timing a flight along with getting sufficient sleep is tough. Always make sure to quickly scan your flight plan for anything that looks too close next time around, and you should be good to go!
