Congrats! I’m not sure what the regulations are in the U.S. but how are you enrolling so early? Or even being a pilot in general?

Hello! I am in also in CAP, I have been with them for abt 2 years now, and although it says that you can enroll as a pilot.. you don’t actually get to do that until you are a 1 Lt.. (and you also have to be 17+, In NYWG anyway- I’m not sure abt the others..) but you can join CAP at 13+ and you could fly a C152 or 172 as a “O-flight” where you get full control over the plane, I did the twice! But unfortunately getting “enrolled as a pilot” is a kinda a big lie that’s been going on in CAP lately-

Aww man  well I will do it when I am 17

Hey hey..! I never said not to go.. there is more in CAP then just piloting.. like Encampment where you go on a Air Force base (in ur state) and basically do boot camp lol.. for like a week.. it’s kinda fun I liked it (although I was the only tr— nvm)

I wouldn’t wait that long if I were you.. I would join now rank up as fast as you could so when you are 17 you wouldn’t be at Arm (airman) …
And if you did read the basic handbook you get about a week after you join (I’m assuming you did) it would say that no cadets should be in CAP after 18+ by then you could be a senior member… (senior member is basically someone who just sits in the group meetings or events..)

Oh okay then I am still going!
