I came into KSNA then I had to go-around because of a plane on the runway so when I came back around I turned on approach mode but my attitude was set to 2000 so the plane pitched up and the reason I had deactivated approach mode because it wasn’t on glide slope it happened two times since I deactivated it the first time and the second time I turned it on and I landed safely but was mad throughout landing and till now I was in a 757.
Maybe try to activate APPR when you’re closer to the glide slope
I’m sorry for your poor experience. However, unfortunately, there’s not much we can do. Maybe check out the #ground-school:community-tutorials category to brush up on using APPR as well as mastering the B757.
This doesn’t seem to be a problem with the B757 but maybe with the approaches, hopefully you had a good flight apart from all that.
Yeah I should do that.
The whole flight was good apart from that.
I’ll try to fix my mistake hopefully my passengers are ok.
They are fine, no issue!
Oh ok then I’m not mad anymore.
It’s a… simulation.
It’s happened to me before, only when I activate APPR when my hearing is 30 or more degrees different from the runway. Now I usually only activate it when I’m lined up. Plane won’t turn so much, and helps catch the glide slope better.
I mean you can still act like they are there.
Yup that’s what I did wrong.
