Don’t feel down over a mistake you made! I’ve done worse things as well such as crashing into a mountain due to poor visibility or immediately stalling and losing control after taking off for a long haul flight.
I received my first ever violation in the game a few months ago because I fell asleep shortly after taking off and while my plane was climbing. I suddenly woke up in shock with the overspeed alarm blaring from my device and knowing that this will now permanently stay on my profile, that was probably the most devastating moment I ever experienced in Infinite Flight.
Another failure was probably when I accidently ignored a hold position instruction from the ATC because I was adjusting my flight plan while taxiing. Thankfully, they decided to let me go with a small warning. Still, that was a very embarrassing moment.
So you’re not alone when it comes to making a mistake because many of us here (even the staff members) had to learn from the bottom of the hill to understand the controls. We may have made a mistake during our journey but we learn from it to become better.
Don’t lose hope man! 頑張れ!
Hey, it is just a game, not a real life thing. Take it easy and go out to see the sun, trees and real stuff. Actually, maybe it is a good idea for you unistall the game. I mean, take it that seriously when it is just a game, is not healthy.
I have done dumber stuff, crossed a holding line and got slapped with a LVL 2 violation, was warned 3 times, it didn’t strike me I should pushback to a position behind the line until after I got kicked. It felt so terrible.
Yea I always hated it when that happens to me, but what makes me wanna quit is that I can never do centerline, my thumbs too big to do all that rudder stuff on a phone screen man
I hated it more than landing on the taxiway - because that only requires glasses to correct
Have done the same thing as TS. The first thing I“ve learned whenever taxiing in the dark is using the HUD GPS map function to tiller myself on the lines onto gate or rwy.
What you may not know is most of my violations are overspeed vio, and even though I got like 54 of them, have I been more pay attention to the speed, I wouldn’t have it and even though it can be frustrating to see so many violations, it’s a learning experience for me. If it wasn’t for my lvl 1 violations, I would only have like 7 of them which is acceptable. But these violations and mistakes doesn’t make you a bad pilot, it’s a learning experience for everyone including yourself. I also remember doing aerial refueling as part of @GLOBAL_AIRFORCE on expert in 2022 and I somehow collided with the tanker but even though that was a violation, I didn’t get reported thankfully but I decided that I would work on it next time so that I don’t make the same mistake but like others have said, reflect on yourself and don’t let your mistakes get to you
aside from the mistakes which are totally fine, its good to see someone fly to st. kitts frequently since I live there. (truth be told i always mess up when exiting on taxiway bravo)
