In my opinion, if that means fully automated, I take issue with that. Maybe I’m the only one or one of a few, but I will never board a fully automated aircraft.
That’s just me if you want my opinion :)

That’s smart.
Yeah I don’t trust them. Maybe if they stand the test of time for like, 50 years, but I still would prefer a human pilot.
Not to mention automation would steal so many jobs! Imagine how many of us won’t be able to achieve our dream of being a pilot because some metal is doing it all for us.
Boeing for life. It’s made in America, their planes last longer, their planes are a little less automated, and they just look better and are nicer.
I have to differ because Boeing is so much more complicated because Example you have to press20 buttons to turn 1 engine on but Airbus you have to press 1
Airbus thinks that an A350 can be flown by one person. That I will never do!
What I am saying is the cockpit design. Boeing is all messy and Airbus is clean.
Boeing Cockpit:
Airbus Cockpit:
The difference is clear. Again Boeing is building planes for today and Airbus is building planes for tomorrow. The cockpit says it all!
I would also like to mention the fact of how much more room you have to sit and stretch out. With Boeing, you have the yoke taking up all the space in the center and you have no room for a little table to pop out. With Airbus, you can see the sidestick of the left or right side of the aircraft and you can see where a little tray fits. An example of a tray on an Airbus plane in IF would be on the newly reworked A330-300.
That’s what I am trying to say
You chose the one plane not designed by Airbus
Would be better if he used the A350 as an example
The A220 you say it is designed by Bombardier and built by Airbus.
Even still the A320NEO family and A330NEO still has a clean cockpit, even the older planes have a clean cockpit.
Hey guys let’s keep the talk in this topic focused on the topic or on Boeing. In the Airbus topic y’all can talk about how good that cockpit is.
When is that coming out?
I can say good about Boeing too!
At some point tomorrow or early Thursday morning.
Wait the update tomorrow or Thursday ugggh I have school at 8:15 AM Maybe I can get up earlier than normal so I can check it out
Should be about 8:00ish.
Are you aware that he is talking about the Airbus topic not the NEO coming out?
Thanks to all 68 people that voted for which manufacturer is better between Airbus and Boeing. It appears we are in a 50/50 tie and if we could get 7 more people to vote that would be amazing and I will close the poll at 75 voters.
Boeing planes require pilot skills, less computer skills. While the tray seems nice, eating seems like a distraction to me. Also at least for me, I do much prefer a yoke.
I feel like you would have a bigger range to make small turns cuz it’s bigger so I think the trade off is more precise movement and more space taken up
So I agree with the Yoke part and computer part
Ah, a man of culture 😌, nice topic @Zhopkins
Nice pics
