I went through the options you listed for the speech input and was unable to configure my phone. I have the LG v40 this. Can you help me fix… Please!

So, your sure all voices are installed, in the app you selected the installed voices, and you raised the volume in Settings, as well with your device not being on silent and your Device Volume being up?

I have got a similar problem. I can’t hear my ‘voice’ on ATC transmission, but can hear others… It all happened suddenly few days ago. Also at some point I could not hear ATC at all, but now somehow miraculously its only my voice which is not working…

Your ringer is probably off. I forget all the time. Hope this helps @Mikey1974

This is exactly my issue… All volumes are turned up, still no transition…

All ringers on my phone are on, I can hear others transitions, just not mine…

@Mikey1974 - when you say you’ve done the steps listed, i assume you mean the ones in the Support FAQ?

Did the steps not work? Were you able to do them or did you get stuck somewhere?

Have you closed out of the app while they were speaking g briefly, and then came back in?

This happened to me also but I figured out that some of my voices on my device just were not supported for some reason. I used an Australian Male voice and it wasn’t working anymore. Even after trying to update my text to speech certain ones will not work. I think it is something to do with the voice packs on my galaxy play store and nothing to do with infinite flight.

I have just chosen a different voice for my pilot and atc and it seems to be working okay for now. Maybe it was a recent update on your device that has caused this problem.

As found in Support FAQ 2019 - Please read this before posting! please reference the following advice exactly for Android ATC voice issues.

On October 8th, Google pushed an update for their TTS (text to speech) application used in many Android phones. This update can in some cases cause ATC voices to stop working for Infinite Flight. To resolve this issue, go to Settings → Accessibility → Text to speech output → Install voice data.

Remove all voices that are possible to remove, then download & install them again. Specifically the English options. That should do the trick!

Note :
Depending on Android version, your TTS settings could be placed a bit differently. If you can’t find them using the steps above, try:
Settings → General Management → Language input → Text to speech → Cogwheel next to your preferred TTS engine.
