Hello, IFC!
Last week, LFLY (Lyon Bron Airport) hosted an annual airshow called the France Air Expo. It’s a fun little event where general aviation companies come to display their latest and greatest products and little goblins like me go from stand to stand to steal all the free pens.
Here are some pictures of the event (I went there)
A Bristell taxiing by (I was wearing a high-vis, it’s all legal)
A Piper Fury in a very strange color that looked very different in real life than it does on the pictures.
A French Army helicopter (They weren’t part of the show, they were just doing an exercise)
A PS-28 cruiser having an identity crisis (relatable, I want to become its friend)
A DA-62 IOP, a special military version of the DA-62 with a bunch of cameras and sensors (IOP stands for Invasion of Privacy)
Alto

After the very red Alto, a very blue Cirrus
A very funky plane that I really like but the odds of me ever flying on one are close to none
A Cessna 182 Skylane
A glider with an engine (so not a glider)
(Everything is a glider, some things are just better at gliding than others. See: Brick)
A cri-cri, a comically small plane that you can only fly if you weigh less than 90kg (sorry, United Statesians)
Bonjour
