Is this some bug?
There is an ongoing issue with ATC communications, which should have been addressed by the hotfix that was pushed to the App Store and Google Play Store yesterday. You may have not been receiving ATC messages, thus resulting in the disconnect being issued.
If you haven’t already, please make sure you are updated to the latest hotfix, version 24.3.4, prior to flying into controlled airspace. You can double check what version you’re on by going into Infinite Flight settings, where the version number should be displayed at the bottom of the screen. Sorry for the inconvenience!

There is a big difference.
The OP did not receive a violation, just a disconnection.
You unfortunately were issued a level 2 violation which will go on your IF stats record PERMANENTLY.
If you feel it’s unjustified or unwarranted, you should go through the appeals process. The message is misleading to suggest an appeal is not necessary if your total violations allow you to return to the server. This ought to be rectified.
Brother appeals already removed violation and it’s the same issue dude. I was saying in case u got a violation then u could contact appeals and that’s what i did. Also no the violation doesn’t go permanently appeals can remove it. The same issue is ongoing with me that the ATC is sending you messages but it’s not coming to me.
Also repeating the statement. That just in case if u get a violation then u could contact appeals

Yeah same here. Although there are still people who haven’t downloaded the new thing and facing issues.

I am just saying violations are permanent if it’s not appealed/removed - so same/similar scenario but different message? Interesting!
Have you uploaded the latest hotfix? It should resolve the ATC comms issue.

You got disconnected from the session. No violation was given to you.
Check to make sure that your game is updated to the most recent version, as that can either fix the issue, or can partially fix it.
Disconnect isn’t a violation and appeals team can’t make changes. It’s just disconnecting you from the server
Yeah I did but at the time I got violation I had not updated
same issue man i just did my long hour flight from india to phnl and it was pretty much long flight once i was 12 nm away from destination atc told me to turn heading towards the left which i did and after some minutes i got disconnected for no communication i thought i must have missed atc mssg but when i checked my replay i didnt receive any mssg and rn im confused why i got disconnected
You got disconnected because you weren’t able to communicate with ATC, ie you did not receive further ATC instructions after the initial vector. If ATC did not disconnect you, you would have created conflicts with other aircraft, hence you had the option to continue the flight offline. It sucks but as others above have said, make sure you update IF to the latest hotfix so this doesn’t happen again :)
