The only sound of Freedom is the one done by a P-51 Mustang firing its 50 cals.

Nice photos, did you get told to leave while near the base? I remember when I did an introductory flight from Morón (Buenos Aires), the runway got blocked by an aircraft that had had an incident. So the pilot of the C172 and I landed at El Palomar, site of many off service planes. I proceeded to walk down the tarmac, taking photos of the B707s, C-130s and a B737-500. Just when I was finishing, personnel of the base asked me to stop and to delete the photos :(

No. I don’t know why, but the “sound of freedom” is actually my favourite engine, the TF39, which used to power the C-5 Galaxy.

nah man it’s crazy. you can literally spot right along the perimeter fence and there’s no issue whatsoever

The fact the b-52 might still be around after the max retires has me dying 💀

Finally luke is getting some love, I was there while visiting Phoenix last year and I loved every second of it.

Did someone say oil?

Nah but really, very cool shots. Got to wait a few more years until we get our F-35s. Not that I like them better than our F-16s.
