Since I’m sick of the stupid fences in Hong Kong Intl (VHHH), I went to a hill at Sha Lo Wan, which is next to the airport. It took a while to get there but the view is completely worth it👍
Here are some photos as well as some other pics I took a few days ago as a recap for this whole year
You can see this airport is bombarded with cargo plens… lol
I also happened to take pics of some special liveries like the 10000th 359, the love bus and special ana livery 👍
Send suggestions pls I’m beginner
Canon eos 600d 18-135
U can see why these planes are so small…cuz I don’t have a long lens to zoom in haha
Your lens are very good for beginner, I currently have 70-300 but I used 55mm ones for the past 1 year! and survived. My tip is to edit your photos in lightroom LRC and straighten them. These are very good for beginner, mine were worse!
For what it’s worth I think your editing is fine. Most of the photos are straight enough (maybe 1 or 2 are visually off but the rest are off so slightly that you have to really zoom in and tell or not at all) and they visually look nice especially for a first timer.
You don’t want a lot for Christmas, but you give a lot for Christmas! Really nice shots!
The first time I ever flew overseas irl was years ago into Hong Kong to reunite with my family for Christmas.
The approach all the way to touchdown was epic and live changing thrilling.
But then, it so happened our view from our new living space looked out from Hong Kong Island across the water to Lan Tao (where the airport was eventually relocated from Kai Tak, of course)
Then my siblings took me there as I was
the newcomer to be shown around.
You’re giving a great, kind of a time capsule, taking me back to that special Christmas!
