hey, i don’t know why but i can’t open shared flights from new pilots trying to join our VA, like after downloading the files i can’t get access to them and doesn’t give me the option to see them on IF

This issue may be related to file access limitations on Android devices and Chromebooks. On some systems, Infinite Flight may not be able to properly access downloaded flight or .fpl files due to Android file permission restrictions, and the application does not provide an option to open shared flight files directly within the app. This behavior can occur more frequently on Chromebooks, where the game runs through Android emulation, which may further restrict file access. As a result, downloaded shared flight files may not appear or be accessible in Infinite Flight.
Alright thank you, so this mean i should get another laptop or use an ios device to be able to run the files ?
Yes, exactly.
This is a platform limitation on Android devices and Chromebooks due to file access restrictions, and unfortunately there isn’t a reliable workaround at the moment.
Using an iOS device (or another platform without these restrictions) is currently the best way to open and manage shared flight / .fpl files in Infinite Flight.
