I don’t think iPad 4 is compatible any more. I think it shows up in the App Store because we have a high enough version of iOS, but our devices cannot support the update itself. :/
We could try with low settings but the App Store won’t download it…

Well it’s getting old as a device now, anyway. She just doesn’t have enough processing power.
A 64-bit device (iPhone 5S, iPad Air 1, and later) as well as iOS 10.3.3 or later is required to download the update.
Apologies for this - this is an issue on Apple’s end showing the wrong error message.
The problem is that your device does not support OpenGL ES 3.0, a requirement for the new graphics in the latest update. Instead of saying this, however, Apple incorrectly states that it is to do with the version of iOS required.
