I can stop whenever I want! | Munich, October 18, 2019

Ooops, I did it again 👀

As last week, I once again found my way to Munich Airport, this time without many special liveries but rather normal traffic and to meet Planespottinggirl for some spotting. As the title says, I’m not addicted! I hope

Since I didn’t have a ladder with me this time I was a bit annoyed that the airport switched to 08s while I traveled there. After a lot of waiting for arrivals I eventually got one of Lufthansa’s A340s on final for 08R right before things turned stressful.

Since my goal for the day was to eventually get a proper shot of Etihads 787, I was closely monitoring its approach all the time to find out which runway it would choose. Out of a sudden, the airport switched runways again and the 787 got an ILS approach for runway 26R - the exact opposite of the airport. This made me start a little race around the entire airport but I eventually reached the correct runway right in time for the arrival from Abu Dhabi…

…and the rather regular Qatar Boeing 777 from Doha

An advantage of that rather sudden change was that I also managed to get a shot of “München”, Lufthansa’s second A380.

You might remember the shot of Belavia’s E170 in new colors a week ago, so now here is a shot of the same airline with it’s old soviet style livery I was really looking forward to catch.

A bit later I decided to switch to the southern runway again so I almost missed a rather rare plane. After introducing Joon as a new airline not too long ago, Air France decided to re-integrate the airline into the main airline again so this one might be a sight that will soon be gone.

Besides Planespottinggirl, I also “met” another Instagramer - SkyTrotter was flying back to Geneva as a pilot on this CSeries 100

Another spotting day, another SunExpress special livery, this time an advertisement for PlayStation.

While we didn’t expect any specials yesterday, we eventually got one rather late and even after some rain showers. R2-D2 inbound from Tokyo. Since it was quite dark already it ended up being a panning shot that turned out ok-ish I guess.

I hope you are not yet tired of all these spotting topics, but if you are: winter is coming so they might become less frequent over the next few months ;)

Really fantastic pictures as always, thanks for sharing!

The SWISS A220 must be my favourite, but D-AIMB looks fantastic as well (as do the others)!

Lol, no you can’t stop. That’s the biggest lie I’ve heard since being told sniffing any kind of glue would have adverse health effects.

Glad you had fun on your date.

Might wanna check ya spelling there mate!

Nice shots, always #1. Interesting Swiss got those A220s back in the air quick.

Epic as always. That Belavia livery is cool, don’t really want to see the new livery now. I also love the CSeries from SWISS.

How the actual demonitized (or thing) do you always get good pictures? It’s going out of hand and I plan on binging your topic posts as well as studying you closely :/. Also, if you stop doing this then I’m going demonitized.

It will always be the CSeries to me 😏 totally agree with @anon41771314 there haha

These made me really laugh out loud 😂 I’m afraid you are right though 👀

I said spotting, not dating 🙄

Oh yeah, you’re right, sorry for that minor typo there

No worries, I guess that won’t happen anytime soon 😉

Completely real as long as you’re ok with some exposure and contrast corrections during editing 🤷🏼‍♂️
