Hello, I went plane spotting at KORD on Saturday for the first time since February and ofc I was excited (or was I?) First of all it was 90F (yes I know its not that hot but still) and for some reason, spotting during the summer has always been the worst, not only the heat but the haze is SO annoying. Woah, but it gets even worse than that, somehow, the one day I go spotting is when all the heavies are landing on 27C instead of 28C, no, I am not ungrateful because I know a lot of people have smaller airports with no heavies but still, I usually get to spot around 10 heavies in one spotting session but instead, I only got 3 lousy heavy spots. There were so many United and American 737 and A320s that when I saw a Alaskan 737 and a Delta a220, I was excited (yes I know it is very extremely common but to have a break from United and American was wonderful). The best part of the spotting session was eating my Wendy’s and also thinking about leaving. At that point, looking at Flightradar24 was better than spotting, (once again, I am very grateful to have such a big airport by me) but spotting at Chicago Executive airport (KPWK) would’ve been better. Oh and to top it all of, when I got home and started editing my photos, I realized that I shot in JPEG and not RAW (rookie mistake) so now, my photos are hazy and grainy (I couldn’t use denoise) -_-. Oh yeah, and my $1500 PC (Not a flex) couldn’t even run LightRoom . Anyways enough complaining, lets get to the photos:
