Hello Friendly IF Community!
After about 1 month of preparing for taking the IFATC written and practical exam, countless training sessions, and annoying pattern work, and a barely passed practical, i’ve officially been accepted into the team! It feels amazing finally being able to control for you guys, and work on improving my skills to eventually open up bigger airports such as hubs and/or events. I’d like to thank the following people for helping me out through my journey:
@VortexVolt → You literally introduced me to the program. Thank you for inviting me to the ATC Mentorship Hub, where I helped other pilots in mock practical sessions, and built my skills from the bottom up.
@TaipeiGuru → Thank you so much Taipei, for being the best recruiter, always answering my endless questions, and accepting me into this wonderful program, I wouldn’t be here without you and your kindness.
@Cooper → Thank you to Cooper, who was always free to help train me. I know I got on your nerves sometimes, but thank you for being patient. Your official training sessions brought me to my Practical Test well prepared, and ready. Also, thank you for your informative videos!
@Mattchew → Thank you for being patient when I made mistakes, and thanks for helping out with radar @ LTCG during that group flight on my second day on the team!
@Scot_McGough → Thank you for my first Tower <> Radar session, it was great communicating with you at your wonderful home airport (RJTT), I learned a lot of new things!
Thank you to the WHOLE IFATC team, for giving me a very special warm welcome into the IFATC Discord Server. (I learned some of my mistakes the hard way lmao)
last, but not least,
@spinalcase → Thank you for helping me out, and giving me wonderful tips and support on my little bit of a rough first day at work lol.
Once again, thank you to everyone who helped me achieve my goal, and get to the place I am today. I appreciate each and every one of you. I can’t wait for my future with you guys, and i’m super excited to finally be a member of the green team!
Here’s to a bright future,
