Hello, IFC community, I’m an ifatc student on the way to becoming IFATC, it’s a really excellent feeling, but the 2 exams I took failed, it’s a really sad situation and I can’t understand our mistakes on the training server because they don’t follow the instructions anyway, I’m really in the last point, if I fail this exam I’ll have to wait another 90 days and I can’t find enough time for many reasons like School…
Also, I have a question for expert controllers, while passing through an active airspace, the example is Istanbul centre is open, but we left the afk, will it cause us to get this violation?
I strongly recommend you make an ATC Tracking Thread. You’ll get to practice the contents of the practical and you’ll be given detailed feedback of your controlling after each session. Here’s a great topic to help you get started.
Exciting as it is, take your time. Read through all of the material you have. Don’t overthink it of course. The ATC guide is your friend. Do you have specific areas where you are struggling? Discuss with your recruiter these weak points to grasp a better understanding. Your recruiter is also always willing to help and only wants to see you pass.
It is really a great tool to help you understand the fundamentals of controlling and will help with passing your entry exam. Don’t give up. Always keep trying, and good luck. Looking forward to welcoming you to the team.
Imo controlling on the Training Server is largely a total waste of time, especially EGLL or KLAX. Players just will not listen the vast majority of time.
Create a thread with a ping list and go somewhere quiet for some proper learning! On that note, feel free to add me to it when you do 😄.
You really support me a lot in many ways, I will open a monitoring topic, thank you for the information, I thought my violation would not be deleted and I wrote to you and you gave me confidence, my violation was deleted, thank you for supporting me.:)
Did you fail the practical test twice, or was it the written test? If it was the written test, you might really need to take some time to thoroughly study the manual. If it was the practical test, consider starting a tracking thread to get in touch.
Additionally, whether it’s an issue with the written test or the practical test, you can seek help in the Mentor Hub, where active IFATC members will be available to address your questions and provide guidance.
