I am circumnavigating the earth...NORTH TO SOUTH

Leaving behind the warm sunny Australian coasts and up to one of my favorites Jakarta Intl. !

Ah, I see you found the shorter way to circumnavigate the earth 😂

I’ve studied my approach charts and set my approach into 25L into my navigation will start my decent and approach checklists in about 15 min, all is well, it will be a beautiful morning here in Indonesia!

Lol… yeah… my word man this is a long flight!

It would be 41 miles longer if you went around the equator, so your saving it where it counts 😂

I’ve been flying for three days now, the Antarctic crossing was long… very long… lots of white nothing! Saw no yeti… or mountain ranges of mass huge magnitude… kinda bummed … no drop off! 😂

How about we cycle our lights on and off 2 or 3 times will that work ? 🙂 Good luck on your very ambitious journey !! Keep the Blue Skies Up

So it’s actually oblong in shape, not a true circular sphere, probably because of centrifugal force…

Yep, that’s exactly it. Slightly not circular so it’s like 24,860 to go around past the poles vs 24,901 around the equator. Got to save those miles where it counts 😂

It’s still a long flight!🤣😂 but this is fun! I may stay down here for a few days and fly a smaller AC and do some sightseeing! I’ve never flown to this part of the infinite globe!

Aww, c’mon.

Reading through the replies, cool to see how far you’ve already travelled around the world! When you takeoff on your next leg I might be able to escort you.

Good luck on the rest of your journey, I’ll stay tuned for more!
