Yet another Hurricane is brewing in the Caribbean. It’s name is Hurricane Julia. As of 7pm EDT today this storm has been rated as a Category 1 hurricane with max winds of 75mph. It is currently 10 miles south of San Andres Columbia and is expected to make landfall in Nicaragua early Sunday morning.

Some may ask. What does this have to do with infinite flight? Well I’m tracking the hurricane because IF has live weather and it’s incredibly fun to fly into hurricanes and try and see if you can land in insane winds and experience the extreme turbulence.
- Saturday October 8th. Julia has just reached hurricane status with maximum sustained winds of 75mph. It is currently 10 miles south of San Andres Columbia and is expected to make landfall just north of Bluefeilds Nicaragua at around 8AM EDT tomorrow. It is currently moving west at 17mph.
- Sunday October 9th. Julia has made landfall on the eastern edge of Nicaragua early this morning. It currently has max sustained winds of 86mph and is moving west at 16mph. It is expected to weaken over the next few days as it goes over land.
